Michelle studied Occupational Therapy at Sydney University, graduating with Honours in 2000. Michelle is passionate about working with families to assist their children's development. Michelle has extensive experience working with children both in hospitals and community settings. Michelle has had the opportunity to work in several areas of Australia, including the remote Northern Territory, and brings this rich experience to her own practice.
Michelle has 3 children of her own and understands the challenges facing parents and carers as they navigate their way to ensuring the best outcome for their kids.

Accessing Busy Bees OT
You can refer you child to Busy Bees Occupational Therapy by either calling, emailing, or messaging via this website. There is no need to have a referral from your GP, however, you may like to discuss your child's needs with your GP in relation to access to any funding options you may be entitled to prior to booking a session.
Michelle is a registered NDIS provider and is also able to provide services under Medicare Allied Health Referrals (Chronic Disease Management Plans).
Our beautiful, fully accessible, ground floor clinic space is able to cater for clients and their families. We have comfy seating for parents and carers to ensure full engagement in our sessions, toys, books and games to keep siblings occupied and accessible bathroom and nappy change facilities on site. We welcome any questions regarding suitability of our clinic for your child.
Our clinic is easily accessible via car, with 2 hour, free street parking available out front. Disability Access Parking is available by prior arrangement. Alternatively there are several public transport options, including the Newcastle Transport Interchange, less than 10 minutes walk from our door.
